5 Process to make Glufosinate Ammonium:

The first step synthesizes methylphosphonic aldimine,

the second step synthesizes methylphosphonic formaldehyde,

the third step synthesizes amino-cyano-phosphonate (Strecker reaction),

the fourth step synthesizes methylphosphonic amino acid hydrochloride,

the fifth step, after introducing epoxyethane reaction, filter and dry to obtain the finished product glufosinate ammonium acid.
